General Information Page
The Paragon Flying
Club is a non-profit corporation made up of members currently holding
shares in two Piper aircraft. We are located at PWK - Chicago Executive
Airport (formerly Palwaukee Airport), five miles north of Chicago's
O'Hare International Airport.
Our club prides itself on providing well-maintained aircraft with full
instrumentation, including graphic engine monitors, strike-finders, and
backup vacuum systems in each of the aircraft. Safety is our number one
priority. Squawks are handled promptly and all regular maintenance is
performed on schedule.
Another important asset to the Paragon Flying Club is that each
member's liability and hull insurance is included with their
membership. Our policy is one of the best you will find for a flying
club anywhere in the country.
Unlike
some flying clubs, we encourage members to take the planes on long
trips. The airplanes are scheduled via an online service
which
also provides telephone access.
Our fleet currently consists of a 1981 Archer (PA28-181) and a 1982
Dakota
(PA28-236). They are kept hangared with full 24-hour line
service. No more preflighting in the rain and snow; fueling and
pull-out/push-back is just a phone call away. Chicago Executive is a
tower-controlled facility with 3 separate runways and ILS, GPS, and VOR
approaches, providing convenient access in less than optimal weather.
